House Call Doctor provides 100% bulk-billed home GP visits to patients, when regular clinics are closed on weeknights, weekends or public holidays. House Call Doctors assist many elderly and disabled patients, and also provide medical support to their full-time carers. The Seniors Legal and Support Service (SLASS) provides free legal and social work support for people over the age of 60 (or 50 in the case of Indigenous people) experiencing elder abuse, mistreatment or financial exploitation.

The Community Information Centre Townsville Inc (CIC) is a not-for-profit community organisation funded primarily by Townsville City Council. It provides a comprehensive information and referral service on services, clubs, and organisations in the Townsville region. UnitingCare Community’s Personal Alarms aims to assist frail older people, younger people with a disability and their carers by providing a medi-alert alarm service. Everglow can assist you with obtaining an alarm and possibly paying* for the monthly charge.
